The spirit of the conference
The College’s sixth conference, held in Shumen, is particularly telling of its development: Bulgarian, Serbian and American contributions met in a common programme focused on real clinical and professional problems. The participation of colleagues from Niš underlined the importance of regional ties.
Programme highlights
- A broad range of topics: affective disorders, addictions, aggression, psychoendocrinology, psychotherapy and the organisation of care.
- A lecture on impulsive aggression by the American forensic psychiatrist Alan R. Felthous, who also co-chaired one of the sessions.
