Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology \u201cAnger\u201d \u00b7 21\u201322 April 2017 \u00b7 organised by the College of Private Psychiatry, the Prof. Nikola Shipkovenski Mental Health Centre and the Master\u2019s programme in clinical psychology at Sofia University<\/p>\n<h2>The spirit of the conference<\/h2>\n<p>The first conference after the death of Assoc. Prof. Georgi Koychev was dedicated to his memory and brought the community together under the motto \u201cLet us be together\u201d. \u201cDr Georgi Koychev had the gift of gathering people from the caring professions into communities,\u201d the organisers wrote in their invitation \u2013 and the best way to honour him was to continue his work. Anger was explored from neurobiology to art, sociology, religion and psychosomatics. A few months later, on 24 July 2017, the College became a full member of the European Psychiatric Association.<\/p>\n<h2>Programme highlights<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cAnger in the life and work of Iliya Beshkov \u2013 in memory of Zhoro Koychev\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>The neurobiology of anger and physiological affect; the cardiovascular system and the \u201csynonyms of anger\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cAnger \u2013 one of the seven deadly sins.
